ReStitch Wabash Valley was founded in 2026 by a group of community members who recognized the need for a local organization dedicated to helping homeless individuals to sleep better, wherever they may be.

A single-piece, weather-resistant sleep system designed to help someone rest off the cold, wet ground, with:
Every component to our Sleep Systems are made of a Poly blend of materials that are either water proof or semi-impermeable.

Every day, clean operating room instrument wraps are discarded after a single use. At the same time, people in our community sleep outside in the cold and rain. ReStitch connects those two realities—reducing medical waste while creating practical, dignified protection for nights outdoors.
ReStitch Wabash Valley was featured on Good Day Live to share how we upcycle surgical sterilization wraps and plastic bags into weather-resistant sleep systems for people experiencing homelessness in the Wabash Valley.
